Normally, women that had pregnancy induced hypertension,after delivery most of them, their blood pressure (B.P) returns to normal while some becomes hypertensive after delivery.

It’s good after delivery to monitor your B. P for a while to know which category you fall under.

I have seen a good number of women that didn’t monitor their B. P after delivery and their blood pressure was shooting up which is not good for them on the medium long run.

In conclusion if your blood pressure is still uncontrollably high few weeks after delivery you have to be on B. P medications for the mean time and further evaluation done by your doctor.

Preventive health care is better than curative health care.

Doctor i want to do infection test for my whole body.

It’s always a funny thing to hear from a lady or both partners when they come to the hospital.

Firstly there is nothing like I want to do infection tests of the whole body for a lady or a man.

Ignorantly say it to some labs and you will be surprised how much you will spend doing tests that are not necessary for you or both partners.

It Is a misconception.

Doing several culture tests, taking injections is not what you need to treat recurrent vaginal infections or STIS in men and women.

Vaginal infections in women is not caused by the so called toilet infections or using public toilets or other friend’s toilets, rather it is caused by an alteration in the normal flora (Staphylococcus,Candida,Lactobacilli) of the vagina that normally keeps it acidic.

I know some people will be wondering, Yes above mentioned bacteria Organisms are situated in a woman’s vagina to maintain the acidic Ph of the vagina.

When there is an imbalance in these normal flora usually caused by:

–using douching creams, scent soaps to wash inside the vagina.

–Chronic use of antibiotics

–Immune system suppression like in pregancy.

Vaginal infections can occur,depending on the person’s immune system.
